I got a J-O-B(S)

Well hello again. It's been a busy week. Where to begin... I guess I'll start by saying I think winter has left the panhandle. It's in the upper 70s and beautiful outside. Bryan sent me the sign in the picture above, and it sums me up perfectly.

This week was Valentine's Day. And while it was a little sad that Bryan wasn't here, it wasn't that big of a deal. We don't usually do anything special anyway. Maybe dinner and a movie at home. This year, I treated myself to a massage, which was much needed! I went to the movies with some gals to see 50 Shades Freed (gag!), and got a few awesome gifts. Bryan sent tulips (my fave) and Col Hight sent me a beautiful Milspouse box! If you haven't seen them, check them out! They are beautiful gifts for military spouses!

This week I also went to the Hearts Apart bowling event with my friend Rachel and her daughter Charlee. It was fun! I also had dinner with some gals last night for Leanne's birthday. I definitely think I found some gals here that I connect with, which is great!

I made some upcoming plans... my mom is going to be visiting. She will arrive on March 10th and stay for a few weeks. I'll drive her home and we'll take a quick trip to Universal Studios. Also, Kate and Laura are coming to visit me in April!! Look out Sandestin Wine Festival!

The biggest news is on the job front. I was hired with Value of a Veteran and start next week with training. This is a part time (10-20 hrs) outreach/community engagement job. I'll be doing this in addition to my Training Specialist position with Military Child Education Coalition. I continue to do some side work for them and traveled to Charleston this past week to learn a new training on helping military kids find their spark.

I'm heading to Langley and Goose Creek, SC next month for two trainings while my mom dog sits for me. In addition to those two jobs, I've applied with Pixie and Pirate Vacations to become a Disney travel agent. I also received an email from 7 Eagle Group to recruit vets for companies as well. I was supposed to have an interview today but they rescheduled me. I also accepted a social media evaluator gig (also part time) with Appen. If all goes well, I could have 5 part time jobs. If it allows me to work from home with flexible hours and travel when I want, it won't be so bad. I also received a call from the local pregnancy resource center about a potential position, so we'll just see where this all goes. I try to stay optimistic and keep moving forward. I'm taking a course to become a Salesforce Administrator as well through VetForce (it's free for military spouses!)

Other than that, I'm headed to the allergist tomorrow to see about this egg issue. And I think I'll get out to the beach on Thursday when it's supposed to be 77 and sunny! I'll leave you with these gorgeous pics of Charleston!
